We can say that fashion started when the first man stepped on this earth. This is another thing, depending on the time, these clothes were made of leaves or animal skins. And after the cotton crop was cultivated for the first time in Sindh, katan or cotton cloths came into being, then the world started to get a lot of colorful clothes. But the practice of ready-made garments did not take off before the 19th century.

Charles Frederick Worth, who was born on October 13, 1825 in Bourne, Lincolnshire, England, who founded this dimension in 1858, is credited with establishing the fashion trend in the world. After that, many fashion designers followed his footsteps and started introducing their modern garment designs to the public. Charles Frederick Worth is also called the father of fashion. During 1870-1871, he had to close his business due to the Franco-Prussian war. But at the end of the war he resumed the House Of Worth. At the end of his life, he was tired and no longer interested in his work, so he retired. He died on March 10, 1895. After Charles Frederick Worth, the business was taken over by his sons Gaston-Lucien Worth and Jean-Phillippe Worth, and their successors carried on his name, but over time Gradually, the brand began to lose its usefulness and by 1952, they were almost out of business, and finally, almost a century later, in 1956, this first brand in the fashion world had to be closed. However, in 1999, the House of Worth was resurrected.

It is also important to understand that fashion is not only about clothes. Rather, along with clothing, make-up, shoes, purses and other accessories, their innovation and cutting edge together define fashion. Before regular fashionable dresses were made, women had to go and get their clothes measured by a tailor, although this practice is still common in many countries of the world, especially in developing countries. But when the members of high families and especially women started getting tailor made and fashionable dresses according to their choice, then what to look at the price.

Ever since Charles Frederick Worth started his dress designing career, Paris has become the hub of fashion worldwide and every new fashion originates from Paris. In other words, the story of fashion is incomplete without Paris. Although after that, the brands of various designers gained popularity in all major cities of the world like London, New York, Los Angeles, Amsterdam, Rome, etc., but the fame of Paris did not come to anyone else.

Looking at the growing popularity of fashion designs, fashion magazines were published in different cities, so according to this era, print media facilities were available to the designers to advertise their products. Through which he started to introduce his ideas to the corners of the world. And among the fashionistas, these magazines were becoming quite popular. The most famous of these magazines was La Gazette du Bon Ton, published by Lucien Vogel in 1912 and published regularly until 1925.

In the early eighteenth century, many women individually designed dresses for the French aristocracy. Among them, Françoise Leclerc was the Queen’s personal dress designer, and aristocratic women also proudly wore her designs. However, by the middle of the century, the names of Marie Madeleine Duchapt, Mademoiselle Alexander and Le Sieur Beau lard were also starting to be considered as authentic designers. But they did not have a regular brand and among such women Rose Bertin can certainly be called the first dress designer.

Rose Bertin (July 2, 1747 -96 September 22, 1813), held the position of Minister of Fashion as a special designer to the French Queen Marie Antoinette. In Paris, his shop was the first choice of the ladies of the Parisian aristocracy. However, after the French Revolution, he had to be exiled to London.

At the beginning of the 19th century, Madame Vignon, Madame Victorine and Madame Palmyre were also considered among the best designers, but they did not provide tailor-made clothes, but provided dresses according to the customer’s demand.

Women’s Sports Sportswear The Maison Redfern was the first fashion house to make its mark on women’s sports, founded by an English tailor, John Redfern (1820-1895).

Similarly, Paul Poiret introduced dresses that did not include petticoats and corsets in the first decade of the twentieth century. This is how the S-shape fashion, which has been going on for decades, came to an end. And with every passing day, new innovations started emerging in dresses. In the coming days, Bouffant and Coco Chanel made their mark in the world of fashion.

Jeanne Lanvin and Jean Patou succeeded in making their place in the fashion world by introducing new designs for the new era.

Now here the question arises that is fashion important? And why is it so important? So in answer to this we can simply say that the importance of fashion is that it reflects the culture of any country or society. And we see colorful dresses of different designs in different countries of the world, which gives us a feeling of happiness. And with these dresses, we can easily recognize any nation. Of course, if we take the example of Asia, by looking at sari in India, Bangladesh or Pakistan, shalwar kameez in Pakistan, kimono in Japan, etc., we can tell blindly which country’s fashion it is.

But it is another thing that nowadays most of the dresses designed by brands that are presented in fashion shows are hardly used by anyone in normal life. But the compulsion is that such fashion shows have become a compulsion to promote your brand.
