“Strongly Opposed”: China Withdraws From The G20 Summit In Indian-Controlled Kashmir.

China announced on Friday that it would not attend the G20 tourism summit being held in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK), according to Reuters.

China goes against the G20 meeting in Indian-regulated Kashmir and will skip it.

India slated to host the G20 summit this year and organised. A few cross-country events in the months leading up to its conclusion in New Delhi.

Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Wang Wenbin declared, “China is firmly opposed to holding any kind of G20 conferences in disputed territory and will not attend such meetings.”

On August 5, 2019, India surrendered the region’s special status. In 2020, a tactical war in Ladakh that resulted in the deaths of 24 soldiers strained relations between the two countries.

The G20 summit’s tourism working group will held in Srinagar, the capital of IIOJK. The dates set for May 22–24.

Pakistan has also disagreed with New Delhi’s decision to conduct the meeting in the erroneously annexed territory of Kashmir.

In response to the misgivings, India has said it can organise meetings on its soil. It claimed there must be peace along its border for normal relations with China.

Bilawal is in AJK on the eve of the G20 conference in IIOJK to show his support for Kashmiris.

Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari, the foreign minister, arrived in Muzaffarabad on Sunday. 

The G20 meeting held in India’s Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK), which is against international law. Kashmiris are protesting this in the capital of Azad Jammu and Kashmir.

At the helipad, Bilawal told the journalists that India’s G20 tourist summit held in IIOJK was illegal under international law.

India cannot stifle Kashmiris’ opinions through a conference. 

He said that India cannot play a meaningful role in the world while breaking UN resolutions.

The foreign minister claimed that when India was hosting the G20 summit in the disputed region, he called to address the AJK assembly.

He continued that those who think they can stifle Kashmiris’ voices by hosting a conference mistaken, as Pakistan is revealing India’s true self to the world.

On May 22, he promised to provide support for Kashmiris.

The G20, the pinnacle of the travel industry, will take place in the Himalayan valley from May 22–24. 

This will be the most significant international event since the conservative government led by Indian State Head Narendra Modi repealed the semi-independent status of the nation’s sole Muslim excellent part district on August 5, 2019.
