In the most recent T20, Bangladesh beat England by 16 runs. England’s 142-6; Bangladesh 158-2. And won by 16 runs. Chase falters with the loss of Malan and Buttler.

After defeating Bangladesh, England suffers its first T20 whitewash since 2016.

After ending a string of highly encouraging victories.

Bangladesh inflicted the first Twenty20 series whitewash on England since 2016 by punishing the visitors for their disorganized and error-filled performance.

Ben Duckett was responsible for two boundary-assisting misfields, one awful drop, and running out Jos Buttler.

Litton Das, whose 73 off 57 balls helped Bangladesh reach 158, will remember the game differently.

They gave about 16 runs by their opponent’s different blunders, which was enough to secure the victory.

Matthew Mott, the fielding coach for England’s white-ball team, remarked, “Our first 15 overs were nowhere near the level we’d anticipate.

DHAKA: Liton Das hammered his Twenty20 career-best 73 as Bangladesh stunned world champions England to sweep the series 3-0 Tuesday in a significant upset in front of an exuberant home crowd.

Bangladesh won the third and final T20 in Dhaka by 16 runs, dealing a severe blow to England’s usually efficient white ball team ahead of the 50-over World Cup in India later this year.

Congratulations to Bangladesh.

To give the host team their first series victory over reigning T20 and ODI World Cup champions England in any format.

Bangladesh won the first game by six wickets and the second by four.

While losing is disappointing, congratulations to Bangladesh.

They played better than us and earned their victory, Jos Buttler, captain of England, stated.

After a promising start and Taskin Ahmed taking 2-26, England only reached 142 for the loss of six wickets against a target of 159 after winning the toss and choosing to bowl.

Phil Salt was out for a duck in the first over by rookie Tanvir Islam.

Bangladesh wiped out England as Jos Buttler’s team crumbled following Dawid Malan’s fifty.

But, Buttler and Dawid Malan, who given out lbw for six but survived on review, appeared to be coasting, setting England on course with a second-wicket stand of 95.

When Mustafizur Rahman defeated Malan for 53, he added the first twist to the game and earned his 100th T20I wicket.

Following a powerful hit from Mehidy Hasan that drew Bangladesh solidly back into the match and enlivened the spectators, Buttler ran out for 40.

Buttler said his firing “may have cost (us) the game.”

“I was angry with myself for not diving and not gaining ground. You should be fully committed to making that run, and you know that, “Buttler stated after the match.

Before Shakib Al Hasan removed Sam Curran (four), Taskin collected the wickets of Moeen Ali (nine) and Ben Duckett (11), capping the thrashing.

With Rony Talukdar, Liton of Bangladesh sets up a 55-run opening partnership.

When Bangladesh was allowed to play, the opening batsman Liton gave them a good start, setting up a 55-run opening pair with Rony Talukdar.

Adil Rashid’s dismissal of Rony for 24 marks England’s first wicket. But Najmul Hossain and Liton added 84 runs for the second wicket to maintain the momentum.

As Liton reached his tenth T20I half-century, England squandered an opportunity to dismiss him when Duckett dropped him on 51 from Jofra Archer at deep mid-wicket.

Liton’s 57-ball innings were cut short by Chris Jordan, who made him throw Out a catch at deep mid-wicket.

When Liton dismissed, England did well to hold the Bangladeshi hitters in check, with only one boundary being hit in the final few overs.

When Bangladesh thrashes England, Liton Das shines.

In his third 40-plus innings in the series. Najmul was sent out for 40 after being given lbw by Jordan, ensuring Bangladesh still had a respectable total.

Jordan and Rashid each had a final score of 1-21 for England.

Butler laments missed opportunity as pitch improves, but victory slips away.

That was a terrific score to restrict them to, and the pitch got better as the game went on.

And we reached a point where ideally we could continue to play well and win the game, Howeverler stated. But that didn’t take place.

Bangladeshi captain Shakib praised his hitters for their effort on a difficult pitch.

“We were flawless in this T20 series, and our fielding performance was excellent throughout these three games.

All of the bowlers, who have consistently been good, “added Shakib.

I think we batted effectively on a difficult wicket,” he added. “We knew we had to bowl well and… stick to our strategies.”

England won the previous three-match one-day international series. Which went on to win the ODI World Cup at home in 2019 and the T20 championship in Australia last year, 2-1.

Matthew Mott puts things into perspective in the men’s white-ball cricket squad for England after a series loss to Bangladesh.

We must maintain perspective, added Mott. We’re upset since the performance fell short of our expectations, but there are many things to look forward to.

Even though Bangladesh deserved to win this series, a better performance would have been excellent.
